Corrina is an Associate at Martinez Consulting, where she coordinates executive calendars, supports day-to-day operations, and ensures the firm’s leadership can focus on advancing client priorities. With over six years of professional experience in Human Resources, Corrina brings a unique people-centered perspective to her work, blending organizational expertise with a strong foundation in employee relations and workplace dynamics.

Her career began during her undergraduate studies at California State University, Los Angeles, where she earned a B.A. in Sociology while gaining early experience working with children and families at the Los Angeles Boys & Girls Club and Advanced Behavioral Health, Inc. Corrina joined The Hair Shop, Inc. in retail as a sales associate and later managed one of the company’s branch locations. It was during this time that she was introduced to Human Resources—a pivotal moment that sparked her passion for the field and inspired her to pursue advanced studies. She went on to earn an M.A. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Golden Gate University, equipping her with deeper expertise in workplace culture, organizational development, and employee engagement.

Corrina has since built a diverse HR background across multiple industries, including hair extension and beauty retail at The Hair Shop, Inc., tax resolution and financial services at Optima Tax Relief, and metals service center and industrial metal distribution at Reliance, Inc. In each role, she became known for balancing efficiency with empathy—whether managing employee relations, supporting organizational growth, or refining processes to empower teams.

Her journey at Martinez Consulting began as a contracted scheduler, where her adaptability and people-first approach quickly stood out. After nearly a year, she transitioned into a full-time position as Executive Assistant, where she continues to align day-to-day operations with the firm’s long-term goals.
